- proven Accuton drive-units with the light though stiff ceramic and [optional] diamond diaphragms,
- linked by ultrasteep crossover filters (> 60 dB/Octave) and
- the WBT binding posts
- the room equalization system with a 3 step fine tuning of the bass and highs
combine to reproduce exceptional levels of musical realism.

The zero resonance of the DARC aluminium rib constructed cabinet and 3mm slate veneer baffle enable the DARC speakers to deliver precise spatial imaging and extremely low distortion. The rendering of vocals and acoustic instruments is perfect - see the adjacent review of the DARC 100.
